The main reason we launched RelyLocal in the Longview and surrounding areas is to help the "little guys" (and gals) compete! We owned a small mortgage and real estate investment office where we saw firsthand what a challenge it is to stay competitive especially with national chains and web-based replacements spending millions in advertising every day!  It is no wonder that many of our local companies are having trouble connecting with new customers through all of the marketing clutter. Especially in this tougher economy, we have seen more and more established businesses slowly disappear.   We hear from many new local businesses that are unsure as to how they can get their name in front of new customers.  We enjoy being a resource for businesses as they are discovering ways to get noticed in fact we often make recommendations that have no direct benefit to us as in the end it is your success we are interested in.  We are happy to help you with your questions about advertising or marketing in the newspapers, radio, tv, billboards, phone directories, web, or many other ways to get your name out there.  Unlike many in our industry we feel you should advertise in as many places as your budget will allow because the more places the consumer sees you the more likely it is they will remember your business when they need your product or service.  We look at it this way, all of the big box stores count on multiple media streams to generate their success so why wouldn’t it work that way in a local market as well.  In the end your success equals our success!

Our first goal is to drive consumers to your business - online or off.  As a result, some customers find what they need about your business directly on our website, while other customers continue on to your site to get even more information.

For example, for a typical 60-second TV or radio spot, we will spend 30 seconds explaining what the RelyLocal campaign is  about, and how customers can support our local business. The second half of the ad features a specific RelyLocal member who partnered in the promotion.

Local Coupon Marketing
As a member you may feature up to three coupons complete with any expiration dates and restrictions so customers can print and use them at your business. We promote online and off the over 100 coupons that can be found on RelyLocal.com in everything we do and as our advertising efforts grow so will the number of coupons that are redeemed.  This is a great incentive to entice new customers and it is green because customers don’t have to throw away a book of coupons to use the 3 or 4 they want so they can help the local economy and environment at the same time. Best of all, it's all included as part of your regular membership!
