We are Dale and Cheri Dixon, life - long residents of Greene Co. and owners of this beautiful farm. Purchased at auction in 1994, the 1880's farm home was in need of extensive repair. As owners of Dale Dixon Home Improvements Inc. for over 25 years, we just finished renovating our turn of the century home in Xenia's Waterstreet Historic District. This farm came up for auction. We are privileged to be the current owners and are committed to continuing the renovation. One of the barns on our property, built in the 1870's, was featured Sept 12, 2009 on PBS' "Our Ohio". Currently the farm is home to many types of animals; Scotch Highland Cattle, American Blackbelly Sheep, Boer goats, ponies, chickens, ducks and bees. We also sell breeding stock, freezer beef and lamb. Our animals are grass-fed (hay and pasture). Additionally they have free choice mineral and grain only at certain times. in 2010 the farm will be one of the many farms and businesses in Greene Co. to participate in the Quilt Square Trail.
