Rebecca K. Mason has experience with a broad range of legal areas , including estate planning, employment law, insurance disputes, and First Amendment law.
Attorney Mason's professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association, and the Racine County Bar Association. Mason also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Racine County and is a member of the Ethics Committee for Wheaton-Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints in Racine.
In 2011 and 2012, she was designated a Rising Star by the Super Lawyers Magazine, published by theMilwaukee Magazine. Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
Prior to founding Rebecca Mason Law LLC, Attorney Mason served individuals and corporations as an attorney at one of Wisconsin's largest law firms. While there, Attorney Mason gained extensive experience in first amendment law, including political law (federal and state), as well as lobbying ethics (federal and state), general government compliance, corporate litigation, data security breach, broadcast law, and open meetings and public records law.
Attorney Mason began her professional legal career with a judicial clerkship to Justice Louis B. Butler, Jr., on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Attorney Mason earned her undergraduate degree from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. While in law school, Attorney Mason was on the board of the Wisconsin Law Review, worked on the Wisconsin Innocence Project, and was an intern for the State Attorney General.
