Sullivan’s Saddlery, best known for the fine workmanship in their custom saddles and leather work, has been in business since 1988.

Among their list of clients for custom saddles, tack, chaps and other leather work are such notables as former President Ronald Reagan, Willy Clark, Slim Pickens, Buck Taylor and Merle Haggard.

As a young man, Jim Sullivan was a bareback rider on the West Coast Rodeo Circuit. Jim first got into the saddlery business when he could not find anyone to do quality leather work. He currently runs the store while his wife Liz handles the office work. They carry a wide range of Western wear from hats and boots to saddles, both new and used. They do repair work on saddles and tack, and create custom saddles and other leather work.

Customers come in for the wide variety of products and services, and come back for the quality of their products and the service the Sullivans provide. Sullivan’s Saddlery is located in downtown Marysville, in a unique historic building over 100 years old.
