At Woodstock Wellness, we believe the body is a self-healing organism that contains all the information and resources necessary to regain balance and unfold its unique potential. Dis-ease is a result of a disruption in the body's innate self-healing and communication mechanisms.  These imbalances are primarily caused by physical trauma, emotional stress, chemical toxicity and biochemical (nutritional) problems. Restoring our innate communication networks not only assists us in finding health and vibrancy in our lives but also connects us with the mystery of life that resides inside of each of us.

Using advanced diagnostic tools such as Applied Kinesiology and single channel EAV testing we seek to locate the disruptions in the body's communication network.  Once we have located the imbalances we apply the appropriate treatment to restore proper communication and therefore proper function. Our treatments include several chiropractic modalities, physiologically based emotional clearing, complex modern homeopathy, meridian therapy, nutritional supplements, flower essences, massage therapy, bioresonance and many other approaches all focusing on correcting the cause of dis-ease and not just the symptoms.

We approach the body as a whole unit where everything is interconnected.  Mind-Body is really a single entity that exists on a spectrum from the physical level through the more refined levels of emotion and intellect up to our spiritual selves.  It is not uncommon for severe low back pain to be caused by emotional stress over a period of time.  With these tools we can correct the structural misalignments and muscle imbalances as well as the physiological stress patterns that caused them in the first place.

Alan Hutchins D.C. is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 1996.  His strength is to bring together these different modalities to custom fit the needs of each client.  He believes that healing and growth are ultimately a process of self-awareness and self-empowerment.
