HISTORY

Donald Oakley, Sr., established Colonial Roofing and Siding Corporation, Inc., in 1951. The initial owner of the business, Donald Oakley, Sr., still maintains day-to-day activities at Colonial Roofing and Siding at 89 years old.

Over the years the company has grown, and so has the Oakley family. Colonial Roofing and Siding currently employs three generations of the Oakley family and still continues to expand.

Colonial Roofing and Siding has committed itself to provide its customers with quality service and satisfaction. From 2003 through 2009, the Daily Freeman and the Taconic Press recognized Colonial Roofing and Siding as the "Best Roofing Company" in the Hudson Valley, giving Colonial the MHV Reader's Choice Award. Colonial Roofing and Siding has also been recognized as a Pride Preferred Contractor by Owens Corning.

OUR SERVICES

Colonial Roofing and Siding offers a wide variety of services to its customers. We strive for complete satisfaction on all phases of the roofing and siding processes, as well as the installation of windows, doors, fascia, soffit, gutters, and leaders.

Colonial Roofing does not subcontract or employ piece workers. Every job is done by Colonial Roofing's employees.  Each job is led by a highly qualified foreman who is in charge of completing the task at hand.  All foremen are highly skilled to ensure satisfaction on each and every job, and have been employed with our company for atleast 15 years.

In addition to our longevity, Colonial is one of the only roofing companies left that offer hand and nail roof installation upon request.  

Our company also believes in giving back to the community that provides its very existence. Colonial Roofing has continued to support local organizations, some of which include the Boys and Girls Club, local Boy and Girl Scout Troops, Mental Health, SPCA, Hurley Recreation, local high school sports teams, and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few.
