Dr. Rega is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.  He is anexaminer for the California State Board of Dental Examiners for anesthesia permits. 

Dr Rega received his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry with Double HonorsPrograms in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Comprehensive Care, Applied Practice Administration.

Dr. Rega completed his Internship  and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  Dr. Rega served as chief resident at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and East Orange VA Hospital.  

Dr. Rega is extensively trained in dentoalveolar surgery, office base anesthesia, dental implants and related bone grafting, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, oral and maxillofacial pathology, Inferior Alveolar Nerve Microsurgical Repair and cleft lip and palate repair.  He has special interests in Dental Implants, Out-patient anesthesia, and in office surgery.
