28 Years ago Mike Castellana, founder of Michele's Children’s Shoes, went in search of good quality and fashionable shoes for his first born daughter Christina.  He found himself having to travel to Canada in order to find what he was looking for.  That long drive and seemingly impossible search is what inspired him to open his first store in February 1982.
