The Tours at Homosassa Airboat Tours, Inc. are private and exclusive trips in the waters of Homosassa, Ozello and Crystal River. You'll experience first hand the exotic landscapes and wildlife found on Florida's pristine Nature Coast. The waters off Homosassa are especially interesting for Snorket Trips. Additionally, we offer Sunset Tours. If you wish, you may also get married.

At Homosassa Airboat Tours, Inc., we always cater to our customers. You will never be placed with strangers on the boat and we can stop at anytime to let you take pictures of the local wildlife and scenery.

OUR AIRBOAT:

Our one-of-a-kind custom built airboat has an overall length of 23.5' by 9' in width, deck-over hull. The engine, a 572 CI Chevy , 620 HP Thumper, is mounted on the deck to lower the center of gravity. The boat is pushed by a belt-driven, counter-rotating reduction unit with twin Whirlwind propellers, which reduce the torque-over created by single propeller driven boats.

At Homosassa Airboat Tours, Inc. our boat is equipped with:

• Garmin Radar and Sonar, with XM Weather interface.
• Two VHF Radios
• Cell Phone
• Twin 24V Trolling Motors
• Two Power Pole Anchors
• Honda Generator Aux Power Station
• Ear protection provided for everyone on the boat

The air boat also provides a stable platform for film production crews, science-and research groups, survey crews, etc.

OUR TOURS AND TRIPS:

Your Party can be from 1 to 6 people.

Standard Tour (1.5 Hours) - $200.00

Sunset Tour - $300.00 (includes complimentary bottle of champagne)

Scallop Trips (4 Hours) from July 1st through September 10 - $400.00

Scallop limits are 2 gallons whole per person or 10 gallons per boat with 4 or more passengers and the Captain will show you how to clean them. What to bring: snorkel, fins, mask and a bag for scallops.

What to bring with you on the Airboat Tours:

• Sun block that does not burn your eyes
• Hat (when the boat is not moving) or other protective head gear
• Polarized sunglasses
• Rain gear (optional)
• Wind breaker, if you tend to get chills, as the air temperature drops 20 degrees when the boat is moving
• Camera
• Lunch and drinks for longer trips
• Deck shoes or tennis shoes with white soles
• During the Winter Season from the end of September through the end of April - Bring warm clothes

What NOT to bring with you on the Airboat Tours:

• Firearms
• Contraband
• Pets
• Infants or children if they are afraid of noise
• Dark or black soled shoes, unless they are mark-resistant
• No big coolers
