About Us

Baillie Bail Bonds is a 2nd generation, family owned business started by David Baillie over 35 years ago. Today, his son Russell, owns and operates the business.

Russell was raised in Marion County, graduated from Ocala High School, attended Georgia Tech, and obtained his BSBA Degree from the University of Florida.

Russell has been actively involved in the Surety Agents Associations. He's Past President of the FSAA, Past Vice-President of Bail Florida, and a member of the PBUS.

As a watchman for legislation in Florida, Russell stays current with law updates and the affects the updates will have on not only the Bail industry but on the clientele as well. The circumstances which require our services are never pleasant. We know and understand this, which is why we provide compassionate and friendly service and help our clients through this transaction with as little stress as possible.

Bail is the process of providing money to get out of jail after an arrest. When you receive bail, you are under obligation to appear in court for appearances as directed by the Court until the case is disposed of. When going through a bondsman, you will be charged a fee and required to put forth some type of proof of collateral to ensure the defendant will make his/her specified Court appearances.
