Once out of college, Mr. Beard was off to New York to the diamond district, where he worked for one of the nation's largest jewelry retailers and learned jewelry manufacturing, merchandising, and buying.

In 1981 Mr. Beard left to pursue his life long dream of owning his own jewelry store, and soon Beard Fine Jewelers was established in Lufkin, Texas. Now after over thirty years, Beard Fine Jewelers is known for its quality, designers and superb customer service.
