Nielsen Enterprises began as a dream of two brothers working on their snowmobiles in their garages. From a love of snowmobiles and motorcycles evolved a multi line dealership that is known for being the largest in the Midwest. Ted Nielsen began his dream as a gas station and single line Arctic Cat dealer. His first employees were members of his family and one very loyal employee, Jim, that can still be found at the dealership today.

As word spread of great service and pricing, Ted out grew his first store and relocated one mile down the road to our current location. Over the years, our customer base and product lines grew allowing us to grow from a single line dealer to carrying snowmobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, jet boats, and all-terrian vehicles. Not only did our product line grow, but so did our manufacturers. We compete every year for top dealer for Arctic Cat, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, BRP, Suzuki, and Yamaha. With all of these under one roof, we have added three additions to the North building and built a south building making our location 80,000 square feet.

Our North Building is dedicated to parts, serice, clothing, motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, and all-terrian vehicles. Walking into our north showroom you will find motorcycle and ATV specialist who are dedicated to helping our customers find the unit for them. With a plethora of products available, it it easy to be overwhelmed by all the choices. But with our salesmen's product knowledge and experience, they are your #1 resource.

Parts and service work hand in hand to make sure we have parts available to put our customers back on the water, trail, or road. Our parts department is not only there to help when toys are not working, but with helping our customers make sure they receive optimal performance from their toys. From studs to pipe kits, they can help. With walls filled with chrome accents, mufflers, tie-downs, and tires our parts specialists can help our customers accessorize their toys and make them their own.

Our service department is known for their ability to diagnose any problem that is brought to them. No matter how minor or major the concern, they find an answer. Part of our service team is the builders. We have three full time builders whose only job is building product; allowing customers to take their new toy home that day. The best part about having our own build team is that we always know who built our units. With over 167 years of experience, there is nothing that they cannot handle. Our customrs know that we're only a phone call away to answer problems that occur anywhere.

Along with having a fashionable toy that catches everyone's eye, our accessory department dresses our customers from head to toe. Their goal is not only for our customers to be fashionable, but safe too!! With 4,000 square feet dedicated to helmets, Oakley glasses, jerseys, pants, and boots we have it covered for all seasons. When it's cold, Nielsens is the first place to stop with more clothing and accessories than any dealer around, including major brands such as Arctic Cat, BRP, Polaris, Yamaha, Castle, and Arctiva. But when the thermometer starts climbing the room transforms to personal floatation devices, wetsuits and tubes. But not to ignore our two wheeled friends, our customers will find a full stock of jackets, gloves, chest protectors, and boots. And for our customers that love to play in the dirt, we carry the full line of AlpineStars' boots along with Fox and Thor riding gear.

Our south building (aka H2O building) is dedicated to family fun whether liquid or solid. In the winter months the building is stocked with snowmobiles and in the summer flooded with watercraft and jet boats. We were one of the 1st 25 Sea-Doo dealers in the country and the 1st Yamaha watercraft dealer in the state of Illinois. We've seen watercraft evolve from riding a stand up as a teenager to taking our children out on a brand new 4-stroke watercraft.
