ABOUT PURA VIDA AND ROSANNE NITTI

I have had a passion for photography since picking up a camera as a young child. I quickly found that I have an "eye" for capturing people, animals, places and things in their natural state and the ability to transfer what my eye sees through the camera lens into creative images that are unique. The name "Pura Vida" comes from a Costa Rican term meaning "Pure Life". I consider myself a photography "purist" practicing traditional black and white darkroom photography for many years before going into the "digital age". I Love taking photographs and the "magic" that happens when the camera, light and subject become one. My passion for life and my purist attitude has created Pura Vida Photography. I see every moment as though I were looking through the lens of my camera. I expect the best from myself and deliver it to those who choose to work with me. I look foward to working with you!
