Let’s face it, Women -- there are times in our lives when we may be gaining or losing weight.    Whether we are on the way up, on the way down, or are somewhere in the middle, it’s important to look and feel our best!    For most of us, wearing a pair of jeans that cuts off our circulation is NOT a motivator to lose weight.   In fact, when we open our closet and feel bad about ourselves, we may decide to open the refrigerator instead.  

 So out with old and in with the (nearly) new!

At The Up and Down Closet, we know you because we ARE you! We are a group of plus size women who wanted more options than we could find at the loveliest of Middle Tennessee consignment shops.   Our selection of women’s plus size clothing is great, and our prices are affordable for any size pocketbook.

At The Up and Down Closet we know that beauty comes in all sizes, shapes, and colors!

The Up and Down Closet offers two and a half rooms chock full of very gently worn plus size clothing, size 14 and up, as well as a wide array of purses, shoes, scarves, and other accessories so you create a great look without leaving the store.

At The Up and Down Closet we offer casual wear, business wear,  evening attire, mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses and more.   Much of our merchandise still has the original tags!

We are conveniently located in Hendersonville, Tennessee  (quickly becoming the new Cool Springs of the North!).    We serve Sumner County and surrounding communities and yet are just minutes away from downtown Nashville.
