Windham Gardens

 Windham Gardens is a family farm located in Granby, CT supplying Hartford County with fresh produce & culinary herbs and beautiful cut flowers. 

 Doug grew up farming in Hartford County, and after finishing college returned to pursue his passion for growing. He grows vegetables on most of the 750 acres beginning in early June with peas and finishing in late October with Jack -o- lanterns, always busy growing something!  

 Erin graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and uses her skills to grow a small portion to fresh cut flowers, culinary herbs, and unique vegetables. Erin grows close to 200 varieties of fresh cut flowers she again uses for floral and event design.    

 Together they have 4 wonderful kids who do their share to help out at the farm! Darren, 17, works the Farmers Markets. If you see him, stop and say hi! He'll be glad to tell you all about the farm. Kennedy, 9, and Ella, 7, are just learning the ropes. They've been known to stroll through Coventry on beautiful Sundays, visiting with the vendors and love to gather the eggs from our flock of hens on the farm. Tyler, 21months is a little young to work just yet, but he's been at the markets since he was a week old, and many of you have already gotten to know him over the seasons. He can't wait to come back and say HI! Together we get everything done!  

 Most of what we sell is sold wholesale and at your local farmers markets.
