 Wendy Van Welie is the owner and primary photographer at Indigo Images Photography Studio and Gallery. Wendy has quickly become a sought after photographer in the greater Hartford area for her unique eye and photo-journalistic style that allows her subject's personalities to shine through the photographs.

She believes that every stage & milestone in your families’ lives deserves to be remembered & that you will never regret having too many pictures of your children. They grow up so fast and the stages they go through pass quickly. The way he crawls on his belly, the way she giggles excitedly at her first steps, those beautiful toothless smiles, the nervous fidgeting before her first prom date & that much anticipated senior year in high school... these are the memories you will treasure. Wendy loves to document these genuine expressions, moments & little details that may otherwise be forgotten. 

 Wendy is a long time member of the Professional Photographer of America, and Professional Photographers of Connecticut and Rhode Island. She resides in Granby, CT with her husband & two children. She is available for commission for portraits as well as events in the New England area.
