Main Street Music was opened at the end of September 2004 by John Paschall. If you are an older musician or music lover it isn't the John Paschall that might have been your band director, but it is his grandson. John has been working in the music industry since high school. He received training in recording at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Arizona where he concentrated on the use of Pro-Tools recording software. He worked for a music store in Farmington for five years as the manager.

John loves dealing with musicians to try and help them find exactly what they need for the best price. He has a great assortment of guitars, amps, guitar effects pedals and guitar accessories. Not only does Main Street Music have a large inventory, but they price their inventory to match or beat online stores such as Musician's Friend.

Since our humble opening in 2004, Main Street Music has added a number of guitar, amp and sound lines, including Ibanez, Schecter, Line 6, Mackie, Tapco, Warwick and GK. Most recently Main Street Music has become a Fender dealer. We received our first order on 9-15-06 and have a great variety of Fender electric guitars, Fender bass guitars and Fender amplifiers.

Another area where John has concentrated his efforts is with Vingage guitars and amplifiers. John holds the vintage stuff at the store for a couple of weeks and if they don't move, he sells them on eBay. Some great Strats, Les Pauls, 335's, Ludwig "Ringo" drums and rare Fender amplifiers have passed through John's hands in the last couple of years and he is always looking for new vintage inventory.
