Let us help start your day with a delicious breakfast.  Welcome to Side Street Cafe where we always welcome locals and vacationers alike.  Come enjoy the taste of a home cooked meals (Breakfast served all day).  Each dish is prepared to order ensuring you receive the freshest most flavorful experience we offer.  Once you enter the cafe, you will feel the casual and relaxed, antique western atmosphere.  For those who prefer to dine alfresco, outdoor seating is available where you sit on the oldest strip mall in Costa Mesa along with shops that sell frozen yogurt, sunglasses, bicycles, lingerie, watches, jewelry and fine dining as well.

Our restaurant is family-owned and operated, and is described by our patrons as having a very eclectic menu that is full of home cooked goodness.  Try the Texas Scrambled with Squaw Toast, grilled onions, potatoes like Grandma used to make, and eggs topped with their homemade chili and cheese.  Or, perhaps another local favorite - a short stack of Roasted Corncakes that are like pancakes with cornbread batter and jalapenos.  The jalapenos gave the fluffy corn cakes a little bite.  Just add butter and a touch of maple syrup and these are sure to please any flapjacker.
