PITFIRE ARTISAN PIZZA
Finally, in our 15th year we are able to bring our rustic fire-singed pizzas, handcrafted cuisine and wonderful beer selections to Costa Mesa. Designer Anthony Agriam has transformed the spot into a "neighborhood gathering space" with large booths, communal tables, outdoor seating and Pitfire's signature wood-fired pizza kiln as the main attraction.
Menu items include Pitfire favorites such as our Tuscan Pie Pizza (topped with chicken, onions, potatoes and pesto), a burrata pizza (housemade burrata, wild arugula, caramelized onions and hazelnuts) and a savory pie called Greens, Egg & Ham (braised rapini, farm egg and Zoe's prosciutto), the Pumpkin Pie Pizza (with sage roasted winter squash, wild greens, Fontina cheese, and toasted pepitas pumpkin seed oil) along with pastas, salads and a rotating taplist of craft beers.
According to co-owner, Paul Hibler, “Our goal is to stay true to the essence of great pizza. If we can create sustainable pizza and Italian dishes that combine organic ingredients at an affordable price that the whole community can enjoy, then our mission is accomplished.”
