Siba's unique, multi-colored candles are placed on every carved wooden table. Beautiful brick walls grace the indoors, adding to the Mediterranean theme. Burnt orange walls with lime green accents give the rooms a homey feel and relaxing jazz music heightens the pleasant ambiance.

If customers don't feel like sitting at regular tables, they have the option to sit at a circular carved granite table with a working firepit in the middle, which Siba turns on during those cold autumn and winter nights.

"We've basically done an overhaul on the entire restaurant," manager Jessica Lovich said. "We used to have a lot more of the very expensive, extravagant meals. It was very easy for four people to come in, spend well over one hundred dollars and leave hungry."

The restaurant now has a much more affordable menu with more mainstream dishes.

Siba now carries more simplistic meals such as spinach salad ($7.95), a bacon cheddar burger ($6.95) and seared scallops ($11.95) to more elaborate dishes, including tilapia, which is charbroiled, served with eggplant and roma tomato compote, roasted red skin potatoes, zucchini emulsion and finished with a balsamic-port reduction ($17.95) and jumbo prawn and scallop brochette, served over oven-roasted red and yellow pepper risotto and covered with a basil buerre blanc ($21.95).

Those with a sweet tooth will be thrilled as the restaurant serves tiramisu, which is lady finger biscuits soaked in espresso and layered with a mascarpone mousse, cheesecake, peach cobbler and pecan heaven, a bread pudding with a caramelized pecan topping served with butter pecan ice cream, all for $5.95.

The restaurant's head chef, Geoff Straub, said the restaurant sells a variety of food.

"There isn't really a favorite," Straub said. "It's a mix. We sell a lot of steaks, pizzas and pastas. We lowered the prices and started making larger portions. We only have five original items that lasted from our former menu. It's great for families."

As nice as Siba is for families, anyone can come. Music fans will enjoy the free live entertainment provided every weekend. Need to get work done in a peaceful atmosphere? Siba has a wireless internet connection.

The restaurant caters to the needs of businesses, providing banquet hall service for no extra charge. The two private banquet halls hold 25 people each, but the wall is removable and can seat 50 people.

Aside from the banquet halls, Siba has an upstairs dining area used for social events.

"We have baby showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding showers and we've even had a wedding here," Lovich said.

The privately-owned restaurant also features an impressive indoor and outdoor bar.

"A lot of people really like being outdoors, even when it gets colder," Lovich said. "We even have heaters outside. It's really cozy."

Those who enjoy Europe will appreciate the culture of the outdoors, with a brick floor, an old-fashioned outdoor fireplace, waterfalls, vines and flowers.

On the opposite side of the patio is the Market Cafe, also owned by Siba. The cafe is a bit more casual, mainly featuring coffee and pastries.

"We also sell alcohol in the cafe and it works well for groups that have a mix of underage and legal adults," Lovich said. "This is one of the few places that allows the legal adults to drink a little while their younger friends can have something else."

The Market Cafe has an indoor fireplace surrounded by black leather chairs and sofas, and also offers customers the opportunity to purchase the cafe's coffee, the candles and other items on display in the restaurant.
