The Garlic Press opened in 1974 as a cookware specialty store, and has grown today to encompass many other categories! 

Not only can you buy some of the most unique gifts in Bloomington-Normal, you can also purchase some great clothes (and those FLAX fans will know exactly what I'm talking about!), hand-crafted jewelry, bath items from such favorites as Crabtree & Evelyn and Roger & Gallet, toys and baby items, and now even food!

As well as being able to purchase some of the most exquisite oils, soup mixes, chocolates, and more, you can also visit the Garlic Press Market Cafe. Tea lovers will appreciate the Republic of Tea and Harney & Sons teas that are served in the cafe, and there are many coffee, chai and espresso choices to please your palette.

For the hungry, soups, salads, and bakery items are the order of the day, and the menu has well-marked gluten-free and vegan options. There is also a large selection of cheeses.

The daily specials, of course, change on a daily basis, and there is always something new to keep you coming back for more!
