The HIGH DESERT FARMER'S MARKET is the only certified farmer's market in the high desert. Started in 1992 by the Agriculture Department's Ornamental Horticulture Club and headed by Kerri Santaro, this market provides the finest flowers, fruits and vegetables. Each Grower has a special certification from each county's agriculture department, avoiding sending their product to packing houses to be labled, sized and graded.
By shopping at the HIGH DESERT FARMER'S MARKET, you get the product straight from the plant. This ensures the optimum nutritional value, and the freshness that you expect from California's produce growers. Many fruits and vegetables sold at this farmer's market are grown without chemical pesticides, but use alternative pest controls. Bringing you the best product without harming the enviroment. Helping to keep the health and beauty of California.
