Now, plans for the stores to move into the anchor spot of the shopping center, formerly held by the Fairway Food Store, will mean more space and convenience for the community.

"The motivation behind the move was to increase the amount of retail space that we had and to start the reconstruction of the shopping center," Corwin Pharmacy owner Wally Biech said.

The move will give Corwin an additional 5,000 square feet, allowing the business to add more doctors' offices and expand its home health care section
