Johnny’s Pizza was originally started in 1965 in New York. In 1977 Bruce Jackson and Scott Allen moved to Atlanta and opened Johnny’s NY Style Pizza in Forest Park, Georgia. After a year of business in that location they decided to move the restaurant to Virginia Avenue in East Point Georgia across the street from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The new location proved to be a huge success and just over one year later a second store on Cheshire Bridge Road was opened. 

In 1994 Bruce and Scott started to work on a new company called Johnny’s Pizza Franchise Systems, Inc. In the past 16 years Johnny’s Pizza has grown to over 90 restaurants and includes Johnny Brusco’s New York Style Pizza in cities outside of Georgia. 

Johnny’s Pizza has come to be synonymous with Great Pizza, Subs, Salads, Calzones, Stromboli’s and Pasta dishes. The key to our success is that we use the finest ingredients available and our preparation is based on tried and true methods from our years of experience. 

Johnny’s NY Style Pizza in Rome, GA is a locally owned and operated business with day to day operations run by three generations of family members. Our products including our dough and sauces are made daily in our own kitchen. 

Johnny’s Rome is unique in that the décor and style is upbeat and contemporary and goes beyond the normal pizzeria. A full bar is complemented with 8 wide screen HD – TV’s, 2 HD 100in. plus projection screens and a sound system that allows for superb background music to make your experience a memorable one. 

Weekly activities include Team Trivia Night, live music – acoustic, blues and jazz, ladies night and special promotions on a regular basis. Sports and special events are also a major restaurant draw.
