Welcome to RelyLocal-Lakewood! I’m a local business owner just like you, but with a special purpose: to help other local business owners and their potential customers find each other – and to do it for much less money than traditional advertising. This is the power of RelyLocal, using the Internet and grass-roots campaigning to create a living community of local businesses and local shoppers in the Lakewood area and around the country. I am privileged to be able to spend time with my favorite people: the small business owners and entrepreneurs who supply this community with their creative energy, job opportunities, and unique products and services. Lakewood and its smaller neighbors – University Place, Fircrest, Steilacoom and Dupont – are great places to live and work. We have our marvelous Northwest environment, proximity to the military bases at Lewis-McChord and Camp Murray, our vibrant Korean-American community, and the best Chamber of Commerce in the whole State of Washington. Part of our work as RelyLocal-Lakewood includes providing support to a great organization called Heartbeat Serving Wounded Warriors, to assist our nearby service people and their families. We do this on behalf of our members, so that even the smallest local business can participate.
