When you dine at Happy Tummy restaurant on Lowe Mill’s first floor, you leave with more than a full and – you got it – happy belly.

You depart the eatery with a smile and a much greater appreciation of the person behind it all for her daring approach to spicing up the menu with intriguing concoctions.

Take, for instance, the multigrain wrap That’s the Last Straw ($5), made with ham, spicy strawberry cream cheese, lettuce and onion; or the crunchy peanut butter and banana on bacon Fred Bread known as The King ($5). (For someone who is not a fan of wraps, That’s the Last Straw was incredible. What really set it apart was the spicy strawberry cream cheese, an awesome condiment born of an accident.)
