Jane Claire Designs Drapery Studio was founded by Jane Eades and Claire Williams. Jane and Claire met while attending college and became sorority sisters. After college, both became teachers and began sewing draperies during the summers.

After retiring, Jane and Claire decided to expand their business and opened the Drapery Studio at the Shops of the Colonnade in Birmingham, Alabama. Their love for unusual unique fabrics and trims has made their shop one of a kind.
