Robert L. Gordon, DDS 

Robert Lloyd Gordon, DDS, graduated from Temple University of Dentistry in 1972.   He received his B.S. in Natural Sciences from Muhlenberg College in 1968.

 Dr. Gordon opened his dental practice in East Granby in 1974.  He practices all phases of general dentistry with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry.  While he offers routine hygiene and exams, he also enjoys the challenge of working with apprehensive patients who may have neglected their mouths due to anxiety or fear of the dental experience. 

Dr. Gordon stresses the importance of pain control including local anesthesia, sedation and nitrous oxide anesthesia.  He believes it is in the best interest of the patient to mitigate any stressful situations in the dental office. Dr. Gordon enjoys working with people of all walks of life and emphasizing integrity, humility and a sense of humor.

In his newly remodeled offices, Dr. Gordon utilizes “state of the art” dental equipment, a comfortable and tranquil setting and meticulous sterilization processes.  He has a highly dedicated and efficient staff who love their work and share his enthusiasm for helping people of all ages.

Dr. Gordon considers dentistry a lifelong learning experience and has participated extensively in ongoing continuing education through the years. He believes that optimum oral health in which there is open and direct communication is fundamental to the total well being of the individual. Dr. Gordon resides in Bloomfield and is the father of 2 adult daughters engaged in the teaching profession. 

He has 3 grandchildren with a 4^th grandchild on the way.  He enjoys reading, studying history, philosophy and music, plays the piano and is an avid fly fisherman.
