Whether it is a restaurant with a great bar or a bar with delicious, surprisingly eclectic food is sometimes up for debate, but there are a few things you can always count on when you enter Sapphires.  The staff and crowd are friendly and always seem to be having a great time.  Mike or Charlene, and often both, are usually on site to mix your drink, cook your food, or just sit down and chat with you.  Dubbed by some as the female's sports bar, Sapphires is the perfect spot to enjoy a nice glass of wine or a Grey Goose Martini, while providing all the beer, wings, and sports on 20 televisions that any man would want.

Sapphires got its name from an anniversary gift that Mike gave Charlene the year before it opened.  It was a sparkling sapphire ring that Charlene loves and has not taken off since.  Prior to opening Sapphires, the couple like many other Goose Creek residents, felt they had to travel to Summerville or Charleston to enjoy a night out with each other.  During an interview with a local newspaper when the bar first opened, Charlene told the reporter that there was just no where to go and get a glass of wine.  That is no longer the case. 

If you have not discovered Goose Creek's finest little restaurant and bar, stop in one day after work for Happy Hour.  Or try one of Charlene's amazing lunch specials that change daily; you'll have to get there early for that though, because they go quick!  If your not early riser, or simply can't get there 'til later, don't worry.  The party does not stop just because the sun goes down.  Sapphires is open until 2:00 am everyday, and the kitchen stays open until midnight.  Want to take your food to go?  Call ahead.  Charlene and the staff will have it hot, ready, and waiting for you when you get there.

Of course we can't forget about the sports.  With 20 televisions, all with Dish Network, you will never miss a game.  Mike has all the sports packages installed, so whether it's football, basketball, hockey or baseball, Sapphires is the place to go for the big game (or even the smaller ones you can't watch at home).  Don't forget, Mike is from Wisconsin, so if the Green Bay Packers are winning the shots are always flowing!
