From Basic CPR to Pediatric Advanced Life Support, From Required pre-requisites for attending a College Nursing Program to Fundamentals of Home Care Giving, there’s now one location in North Puget Sound that offers these classes and more.

Begun eight years ago with CPR4U, the new First Step Medical Training Institute in Everett is expanding to meet the needs of those who are entering the rapidly growing field of health care. People who are interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant or caregiver, plus current health care providers who may need continuing education or re-certification, are also invited to take advantage of this new facility.

 Mandated WA State Legislation also led to the establishment of FSMTI...

 

• Any Business with two or more employees must have one staff member on shift  that is certified in First Aid/CPR. (WAC 296-800-150)

 

• Washington State I-1029 mandates that caregivers receive training as well as certification in order to care for elderly and ill family members receiving State assistance.

 

• Not all CPR training meets college pre-requisites for enrollment, FSMTI does.
