About Our Savior Lutheran Church

Connecting people to Jesus in the Quad City Area for nearly 60 years!

FLCEstablished in 1947 and part of the Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod, Our Savior has a long history of connecting people to Jesus and serving in the community and world.  The mission statement of Our Savior Lutheran Church is:
   "Connecting people to Jesus...
            Faithfully...
               Courageously...
                  Together...
For the sake of the kingdom!"
OSLC drives each and every one of their ministries by this statement, which is why when you step foot onto the campus you will know what we are about: JESUS!
We offer many opportunities for worship, service, education, outreach, youth ministry, and more!  If you are looking for a place to worship and grow in your faith or you have never stepped foot into a church building, we hope and pray that you would find Our Savior to be a place that you can call home; a place of safety and refuge and a place to meet Our Savior, Jesus.
We also have a fully accreditted preschool that is proud to serve over 100 students, ages 3-5!
Worship Opportunities

A Bit About Our Worship...
Here at Our Savior we believe that worship is a vital part of being connected with our Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  We offer two types of worship every Sunday with Holy Communion at both services, every Sunday in our Sanctuary (pictured at right).  See below for our worship opportunities.

Service Types and Times:

Saturday Evening 5:00 p.m.

This service extends
another option for people who have frequent conflicts, particularly work and travel related, on Sundays.  The idea is not to draw people away from Sundays!  The main objective is to offer an alternative that enables more people, members and guests, to be in worship on a regular basis.

Sunday Morning

Traditional Worship: 8:00 a.m.

Our traditional worship celebrates our Lutheran heritage of worship through traditional liturgical formats and hymns. Presently, we use the new Lutheran Service Book (LSB) and rotate each of the Divine Services weekly.   You might like this service if you prefer a structured, formal service.

Contemporary Worship: 11:00 a.m.

Our contemporary worship celebrates the Lutheran spirit of variety and creativity. Here we offer praise to God through contemporary music, praise songs, as well as traditional hymns. Our praise team, Glory Bound, leads the music with a sound that includes guitars, flute, keyboard, and drums.   You might like this service if you prefer a more relaxed, modern service.
Advent and Lent:  Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
