Through our flagship publication, brass|MAGAZINE in combination with other web, video and audio products & services, we provide direct, intelligent, and entertaining information to young adults about the money side of life™.

We partner with companies and organizations interested in providing personal finance resources. Our customers and partners include for profit companies, non-profits, credit unions, banks, insurance agents, stock brokers, financial advisors, teachers, students, colleges, high schools and others focused on the same objectives of impacting young adults about personal finance.

Based out of Corvallis, OR, the company was founded by young entrepreneur Bryan Sims and co-founded by his father Steve Sims after Steve was laid off in 2003 due to nation-wide economic hardships. After nearly filing for personal bankruptcy in getting brass MEDIA off the ground, the two created brass as a solution to help others avoid the situation they themselves had experienced.
