I'm local to the Bullhead Laughlin area and have seen many changes over the years; most of them for the better. However, there is one thing that troubles me; it is the economic state of our country and the impact that online shopping and big-box retailers have put on independent local businesses.
Attracting the big box stores to our area is good for shopping, but at what cost to our community? I’ve been fortunate to be involved with marketing in everything from large corporations to local small businesses. I’ve seen first-hand how tough it is for small businesses to get noticed. Not to mention, as wonderful as the Internet is, it has a major impact on our local businesses as well.
This was, and still is, a large part of why I chose to launch a RelyLocal campaign in our community. RelyLocal offers an affordable and effective marketing program and is an ambassador for local businesses.
