Our Master Cake Decorator Janice Miller has been decorating wedding and specialty cakes for the past 25 years. She always dreamed about opening her own family owned and operated cake shop bakery.

When the opportunity arose, Janice and her husband Bob started looking for locations in Apple Valley, Victorville and Barstow. They both wanted to start something small and local.

June 1, 2005, The Cake Shop opened for business. Besides Wedding cakes, The Cake Shop also produces delectable desserts, pastries and specialty coffee. The shop is now well established and going strong.

The Cake Shop just recently opened its 2nd location in Apple Valley off of Hwy 18. They brought there same high quality products to this location, but made it even better with their newest line of Signature Cupcakes, and The Cupcake Corner.

We are not just your typical cake shop. We pride ourselves on our quality and customer satisfaction. The Cake Shop uses nothing but the highest quality ingredients to give you a great looking cake but also a great tasting cake. At The Cake Shop you will find a wide selection of 3d shaped cakes, signature cupcakes, eclairs, cream puffs, cannolis, chocolate dipped strawberries, cookies, pies, dessert cakes, coffee, smoothies and more.

We cater to every event imaginable. Your ideas become reality.
