from yelp:

Riding by, saw that Wed, from 3pm to 9pm they have taco specials. As I never remember the whole taco Tuesday thing, I grabbed up my better half and turned up shortly after 3pm.

Decor was pleasant. Inside temperature was good.

The place wasn't empty, to my surprise. A couple other tables were being attended to, so perhaps a chance to be neglected was there. We weren't. I think the timing of the food, and attention to details (salsa, drinks) were spot on. I dislike being fawned upon, or generally ignored. This place worked for me.

Cannot comment on the quality of the beans and rice staple, as I had to pass on them in place of a house salad. The salad was of decent size, and the dressing was presented on the side, without request. Liked that. Lots of mushrooms, which I didn't expect, so if you're not a fan, keep that in mind. I'm sure they can omit them.

Tacos we had were asada, pastor, and lengua. Served on a single, kind of thin, house or local made tortilla. I liked these a lot, but might have liked two better.
The tacos are the traditional small soft type, but the amount of meat is ample, and was tasty in all instances.

The house salsa wasn't bad. Actually saw one other patron purchase some to go upon leaving. I could see that, as it rivals some of the better stuff out there. We did ask for something hotter for the tacos, which arrived with a very small portion of something with less heat. Perhaps it was forgotten, or we didn't express our desire well enough. Not a deal breaker for future visits at any rate.

Dessert was the usual traditional choices. All around 3.50 each. After we had our fill of tacos, we decided to split an order of flan. Made in house as per our waiter. Pretty tasty stuff. I could have ate a half gallon of it easily, hence why splitting orders is the wise choice.

Seven tacos, salads, iced tea, and dessert came to under $24. Not too bad.

The regular menu looked to have some nice specialties. Perhaps a bit pricy, but I cannot truly say if it isn't a great value or not, as I've yet to try.
There's some lunch specials painted on an outside window for 4.99 and 5.99 I did not read, but perhaps will soon.

It's a nice place and I will go again. With all the choices we have around here, that says something.. lol
