Give Every Child a Voice.....All of the Millie Mae books, deal with the normal anxieties that all children experience.  I believe strongly in my message to"Hear the Voice of the Child!"  I believe if children understand they have a voice, and they are heard, they can achieve all they are meant to achieve in their lives.
                       SPECIAL SERVICES!
I also do readings for daycares, schools; either separate classrooms or assemblies.  A mascot and all props are included, along with a discussion of children's feelings, and "How to use their Voice"!
Book me for readings at birthday parties also!  All props and the mascot are included, and the birthday child receives a SIGNED book.  All the birthday guests receive a small true to size plastic tree frog, and of course pictures can be taken with the mascot, "Squeaky the Tree Frog"!

As a retired teacher, I know how important it is for kids to feel safe and non-threatened in any environment. Through example, children will learn strategies to help themselves. A trip through any picture book should be a helpful learning experience and Roxann makes this a very useful and valuable lesson.

I'm 72 years old, and like others wish I had had this book when I was young. It's entertaining, helpful and effective, but most of all inspired.

Horray for Roxie! She has a way of writing that makes you wish you had these books when you were a child. So truthful and honest. These books should be in all the grade school libraries available for all young children (and their parents) to read.

Roxann's books help to open a dialogue between child and parent and child and teacher on hard to discuss issues and heavy yet important feelings. Along with an example of problem solving, they remind us that just because something is hard to do, doesn't mean it's impossible.

Roxann Biesack has a beautiful way of writing that captures young children's attention, imagination & senses all while teaching important life lessons that can be hard for a child to articulate! Her books open a dialogue between child and parent on important, relevant issues in a such a positive manner. Bravo Roxann on giving children a voice! I can't wait see what Mille Mae will be up to next!

The Millie Mae books are so on target for a child's soul! The newest book gives voice to every child who has been or has bullied It is a salve for the wounded heart of a child. I believe both the bullied and the bully need to hear this enlightening message The illustrations are beautiful and the writing is magical

Such an amazing line of books! My son, now 5, has enjoyed reading both of Roxann's books with me. I feel it is never too young to expose children to the kinds of things they could potentially encounter when meeting new children in school. Roxann's writings give a tool for parents to talk openly about such issues, and suggestive ways to teach children what to do if they are being bullied or if they see someone who is being bullied. She shows her young audience that everyone has a voice- you just have to find your inner confidence and use it in a safe and effective matter! Beautifully written and illustrated- the colorful pictures and fun characters draw children in right away! My son especially loves squeaky! Thank you for such a wonderful collection of books- we will be customers as long as you keep writing!

I am a grandmother of 4, soon to be 5 and have read this book to all (even the ones that can read for themselves) just to have the interactive coversations that the book provokes. So healthy, so great! We love this book and enthusiastically look forward to Millie Mae's new adventures as she deals with life.

What an enjoyable presentation at Barnes and Noble! Not only were my children drawn into Millie Mae's struggle through her first day of school, but so was I! The story and conversation was presented with such passion yet lightheartedness. I purchased the book and have read it several more times to my children. Squeaky has become one of their favorite charachters.

Thank you for this entertaining and sensitive book! I have read it two children, every night for the first week of school. Millie Mae's fear of going to school, and her interaction with Squeaky was both entertaining and calming for my kids.
