When The Shooters Sports Center opened the doors in 1986, their objective was to create a safe establishment. It needed to be a place where shooting enthusiasts could enjoy their discipline, whether it was casual, competitive, or in preparation for the big hunt. We invite you to step inside and support a locally owned family oriented business that supports you.

The Shooters' Sports Center Inc. opened its doors in March of 1986 to a small nucleus of supporting friends and family. Since then, we are proud to say that our nucleus of friends and family has grown with leaps and bounds!

Shooters'' is owned by Jim Schunk and Bernie Kupper......

Currently, the manager of the store operation handles most of the general sporting goods ordering and a large amount of the archery service coordination. Mike has great experience, and is extremely interested in satisfying all of your needs!

Today, The Shooters' Sports Center Inc. is supported by a staff that sometimes doesn't seem big enough, yet always seems small enough to provide premium attention and focused service to the customer. We pride ourselves in having relationships with our primary customer base that allows us to identify most of them by first name.

It is our goal to perpetuate the shooting sports. To that end, we hope you "take a kid hunting" and always obey the safety rules when handling firearms or archery equipment

Our Showroom

Our goal is to provide information, the best equipment, and opportunities for success. Whether your goal is a perfect score on the target range, or bringing home the biggest buck in the swamp, we can provide you the tools to get there!

Our retail showroom stocks most major accessories for the firearms and archery enthusiast. If we don't have it in stock, we'll be glad to order it for you.

For Police or Security Officers, we carry a full line of law enforcement equipment. Most of these items will be discounted with the proper ID.

Archery Range

The archery range is a 25 yard facility with targets that feature easy retrieval for your arrows. The range is well lit and permits the novice or experienced archer an opportunity to prepare for the next tournament or big hunt.

We now have a single lane set up for Crossbow shooting. Consult with the staff to make sure that you are using the correct target for your bow.

MONEY SAVING IDEAS

SHOOTERS' has an Express Card that saves you 25% on range time. Memberships are also available with unlimited shooting, purchase discounts, and loads of extras. Don't forget that group rates for clubs, groups, and outings are available.

Firearm Range

SHOOTERS' features modern range equipment. Our facility is capable of handling most handgun ammo and shotguns too. NO high power rifle, wildcat, armor-piercing, steel shot, or black powder is allowed at this facility. Ammunition that can be shot 2000 feet per second or less is the limit on the gun range.

The range is 25 yards, and is constructed with state of the art safety equipment including reinforced concrete walls, enhanced air handlers, and bullet resistant glass for the viewing areas. All of the 10 shooting lanes have individual controls for lights and target distance selection. The lanes are designed with preset stops at 10ft, 7yds, 15yds, and 25 yards. Additionally, you can set the distance in 1.5yd increments from 1-25 yards.

RENTALS FOR IN-RANGE USE

Rent a gun for fun. Try different manufacturers. Not every customer that comes in knows what they need in a firearm! We carry a variety of firearms for shooters to try on the range for a basic charge of $9 per hour for the rentals. This entitles you to the entire selection for one fee each visit.

Shooters are required to purchase and use house ammo in the firearms, but only pay one firearms rental fee per visit. This gives the shooter the opportunity to try several firearms each visit by trading them back in for another selection as your curiosity gets the best of you! There are over 40 handguns plus a few rifles to enjoy and try out.
