Put candles with honey, and you have Red Moon, a new Downtown store offering Racine hand nade candles, natural honey, skin care products and more....

All of Red Moon’s honey is raw, except some is warmed to remove it from the hive.

Jars of honey range in price from $4 to $40, the top end being 17.64  fluid ounces of Manuka honey from New Zealand — which is supposed to have  medicinal qualities.

All Sweet Flame honey can be restocked, although some types will be seasonal. The shop also carries honey accessories such as dippers and  spoons that hang onto a cup’s edge.

The shop carries both his home-made candles and different styles from other  makers.

Tom Johnston blends his own scents for his container candles, with 10  currently. And his are double-scented. “Standard would be 5 percent (fragrance  oils); mine are 10 percent.”

His own candles come in five sizes ranging in price from $8 to $13.

Red Moon offers three main product lines for sale from our online-store and downtown Racine location: candles (made on site) , honey, and skin care. Sweet Flame candles are long-lasting, 100% soy, and burn clean with little soot or mess. We also offer an extensive collection of honey. We feature local honey from right here in Racine to honey brands from as far away as New Zealand. Our lines of skin care products are the same way, featuring a blend of local and international choices for our customers to enjoy.

In addition, you will also find other related items, including glass, candle holders and votives, honey pots, and honey drippers. Candle lighters and fluids are also available - everything you need to enjoy our products is here.
