ABOUT US & OUR FOUNDER

Founded in 2019, Nodera has a rich history in perfecting the craft of security consulting. The founder, Michael Arredondo, is a decorated Navy veteran with extensive expertise in multiple professional fields. Serving five years as an Active Duty US Navy Hospital Corpsman, Arredondo specialized in Field Service Medicine. Corpsmen are trained to think critically in combat environments while expertly executing life-saving medical interventions to the wounded. The United States Navy Corpsmen are the most decorated rate in the Navy, often cited for their bravery on battlefields, both past, and present. Arredondo is most proud to be able to perform his duties under stress and earned the title the Marine Corps affectionately bestow, "Doc." 

He first dove into the law enforcement field when serving in the Auxillary Security Force for Naval Station Great Lakes, where he received a thorough education on law enforcement tactics and operations. There he was able to serve as apart of a capable security force and secured the naval base, protecting tens of thousands of servicemen and women without incident. He also served with the United States Marine Corps School of Infantry at Camp Geiger, where he participated in the management of thousands of students and staff to support the Marine Corps Infantry Training Battalion-East. Arredondo applied his developed medical skills to support the battalion's mission to provide both basic and advanced infantry training. Arredondo received recognition for his expertise and leadership ability. 

Academically accomplished, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and completing coursework equivalent to a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As a passionate and dedicated criminologist, he continues to study all matters of Security (Physical, Cyber, Organizational etc.) and Social Science (Criminology, Psychology, Sociology etc.). He aims to establish a strong relationship with academia, further solidifying Nodera's reputation for being the beacon of social science and objective truth. 

Returning to civilian life, Arredondo has joined the Public Safety Department of Advocate Aurora Healthcare. Serving as an officer and performing the collateral duties of a security analyst. He has been a significant contributor to the improvement of operations at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center. As a valued analyst, he provided an in-depth analysis of many security concerns for the metropolitan hospital. He has developed organizational programs that have been effective in addressing and tracking criminal behavior as well as metrics to gather data to be used in the improvement of such programs. He has conducted an in-depth statistical analysis of workplace violence for the largest and most active region in the Advocate Aurora network in Wisconsin. He has cataloged and analyzed security call activity for better improvements and optimization of forces. He has written new policies and procedures for security operations that have been adopted by the department and have proven to be one of the most effective.

Possessing his extensive knowledge and varied experience, he has founded and is President of Nodera Security Consulting & Analytics LLC. Nodera brings the principles of science into the investigation of security threats and provides a statistical analysis of criminal activity. Nodera aims to bring back objective truth to the forefront in solving security issues and to be the preferred security consulting firm in the nation.
