Officially opening its doors in 2015, HarborChase of Shorewood began to set the bar for Assisted Living communities. From its luxurious apartments, award winning cuisine to its nursing staff and quality care, HarborChase continues to innovate with the times and provide the absolute best life possible for your loved one. Amenities include cable TV, all utilities, medical transportation, all meals, daily activities, housekeeping, laundry, and concierge services. Residents routinely enjoy a broad range of activities be it scenic tours, religious services, card games or movie nights. Happy hour is featured 7 days a week at our full-service lounge with complimentary appetizers and great company. With 3 restaurant options our guests and residents have plenty of options to choose from when wanting to dine and entertain. HarborChase also offers in-house physical therapy as well as visiting physicians services. Our memory care unit offers a secure environment with activities and programming designed to keep our residents active and stimulated.
Led by Executive Director, Ken Kealey, the standards for the community have been set incredibly high. Having spend over 20 years in the hospitality industry, owning and operating restaurants and managing high end hotels as well as going on 18 years in the Air Force National Guard, he joined the assisted living profession in 2017 wanting to take his experience in hospitality and translate it into exceptional lifestyles for seniors. Having a grandfather who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, he related to so many family members who have struggled to find the perfect fit for their loved one. Billing HarborChase as the “cruise ship of assisted living”, Ken endeavors to educate those who think its just another “nursing home” and show you exactly why you or your family member deserves to live at HarborChase.
