The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, is a 501(c)(3) organization offering statewide programs and services of education, outreach and promotes early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Its mission is to empower our community through outreach, education and support services in order to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. DBCC envisions a community where every person diagnosed with breast cancer becomes a survivor and fear and doubt are replaced with knowledge and hope.

Headquarted in Wilmington with office in Kent and Sussex Counties, DBCC's programs reach diverse communities to deliver messages about their unique concerns about breast cancer and early detection. Recognizing the barriers of language, culture and economics, DBCC trains community advocates to educate and encourage women to take responsibility for their breast health. DBCC helps women with low incomes, or those with little or no insurance receive free or reduced-cost care. DBCC also support the National Breast Cancer Coalition and their research efforts by helping to facilitate participation in local clinical trials.

DBCC's Great Stuff

DBCC's Great Stuff is the newest venture of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and serves as another fundraising arm for the organization. The resale shop came to life with the help of wonderful board members, volunteers, staff and community members who turned the vision into a reality. We sincerely hope that the resale shop will help bring about awareness of breast cancer and breast health while offering upscale fashions at great prices!
