The Montgomery National Golf Course was the first golf course designed by the popular Minnesota golf architect, Joel Goldstrand in 1970. The course was created on the Alfred Bury farm at the northeast edge of the city of Montgomery. Gravestones for two of the original settlers of the property are still on the premises under a large cottonwood tree on the first hole. Goldstrand returned to Montgomery in 1993 to redesign the course, adding a second 9 and driving range.

Montgomery National GC features water hazards on 8 holes and a design with 18 unique holes to keep even the most experienced players alert. The 18th hole, playing 540 yards uphill is one of the most challenging finishing holes in southern Minnesota

A large deck overlooking the 9th green provides a panoramic view of the course and a relaxing place to enjoy the sunset and reminisce about the day's event.

Banquet Facilities

The Montgomery National Golf Club offers a variety of food service options from sandwiches and snacks to catered meals for your special occasion. 
  
Outdoor grill is open daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day, otherwise weekends only for a hot sandwich between 9's, before or after your round.

Menus will gladly be accepted to serve the needs of small and large events.  Call us for a price list when planning your event.  We'll be happy to help you arrange your special event.     

A full-service bar and beverage cart are also available to satisfy your thirst.
