Our History...
 

Some time in the mid-1900's, a new chapter of history was made in the small town of Little River, SC. At that time a restaurant was opened on the very bank of the Intracoastal Waterway. Called "Capt. Juel's Hurricane," the restaurant was operated by Mrs. Mary Juel, the wife of Capt. Frank Juel.

By the mid 70's, Joesph Robertson, who still owns it today (with his spouse Deanna), renovated and remodeled the restaurant to its present state. Today, many of the original decorations remain a staple of Capt. Juel's and you will more than likely find Mr. Joe in or around the kitchen still.

Ms. Deanna can be found preparing the luscious desserts or at the bar making splendiferous drink specials. 

Capt. Juels' is THE place to go for the best seafood, steaks, chops, all made in-house. Try any of the variety of choices on the menu and finish a great meal with of of Deanna's absolutely great desserts.
