Situated on the banks of the beautiful Brazos River in Waco, TX, the Waco Downtown Farmers Market began in earnest on a chilly morning in November 2011. Since then, it has become a shining star in the revitalization of downtown Waco, bringing together a wide variety of agricultural & artisanal vendors, baked goods, growers, eggs, meats, cheeses, skincare products, and so much more. You'll find locally produced honey & olive oil, plants for your own garden, flowers for your table and several places to have breakfast, lunch or a snack while shopping.
The Waco Downtown Farmers Market also brings together the community ~ providing an opportunity for local organizations to exhibit at the Market, and offering information on everything from animal adoption to the Public Library! As defined in the governing City Ordinance, vendors must grow or produce their offerings within a 150 mile radius of Waco, ensuring you not only the finest & freshest 'in-season' produce, but support of the local economy.
As the seasons change, so will the items offered at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market ~ we invite you to stop by often to see what's new & different.
