Leading Edge Learning Center offers private one-on-one tutoring as well as small group tutoring. We also offer class that focus on all subjects. We have tutors that are experienced in working with special needs and behaviorally challenged students as well as high level achievers. We can personalize a program for your student if a class that we offer does not fit their needs.
LELC also offers prep classes for SAT/ACT/CAHSEE/ASVAB/GED and more. We pride ourselves in meeting the communities needs and will continue to work with High Desert residents to be an outstanding provider of educational services.

Reading Rascals
Open a world of imagination through reading! Make reading fun and easy by developing your child’s comprehension and phonics skills. This course is designed for teaching first-time readers, as well as accelerating beginner readers to an intermediate level. Class includes assessment and instruction, individual and group activities, creative writing, storytelling, and journaling. Ages 4 – 8
Math Made Easy
Math becomes easy when your child has the correct foundation. Let us introduce your child to simpler ways of understanding and applying the concepts of math. Remembering the rules of math, and when and how to use the math functions, becomes easy when your child has a real-world understanding of math and what they are doing. This class strengthens math comprehension and prepares students for higher level learning, as they build their confidence and ability to see math concepts used in the world around them. Ages 8 & Over
Summer Bridge
Reinforce your child’s academic development while away from school. This program lets your child practice the skills from their last school year and get a head start on their next grade level. Daily activities include reading, writing, mathematics, and language arts with bonus activities in core subjects like geography and science. Grade Levels K-8th
CAHSEE Prep
Passing the California High School Exit Examination is necessary for all students in California to graduate. This course provides instruction in all content areas of the exam, including reading, writing, and math. Assistance for your student is individualized according to the areas in which they are not performing up to state standards. Includes assessment to determine grade level equivalencies and practice exams.
Read Like Royalty
Make reading fun for your little Prince and Princesses with a story time hosted by an ACTUAL Princess! Each week a different favorite Princess will come and ready a story, do an create their own fairy tale and bring a special gift that will help your child transition over the 4 weeks into “official” royalty themselves! The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel or Snow White, you’ll never know who is going to show up! The anticipation is the best part! Ages 4-10+
Adventures in Reading
Each week your students will explore a different adventure using reading and a multi-media presentation along with an academic based activity to have fun and learn at the same time. Space shuttles, Dinosaurs, The Wild West and more, let your student spend some time learning, having fun and experiencing adventures through books! Ages 5-12+
Friday Night Fun
Let Mom and Dad have a date night, get to the gym or even just have coffee with friends while the kids have a safe, fun, social gathering. We will have movies, snacks, art projects, etc., and kids will be able to hang out and enjoy their peers while allowing their parents to have the peace of mind that the kids are safe and sound. Ages 4+
Write to Win
Whether your child is working on their alphabet or book report, Story-Builder’s Studio offers activities and instruction to build their skills! Small group, hands-on activities and curriculum tailored for your child’s level. Grades K-12
High School Skills
Help your High School age students brush up on last years skills and get a look at next years work as we assess the student and work to keep their Math and English skills sharp. Grades 7+
