The Oreck Corporation is a family-owned American business founded in 1963 by David Oreck. It began by manufacturing upright vacuum cleaners for the U.S. hotel industry and now sells vacuums used in hotels and homes throughout North and South America, as well as Europe and Asia.
David Oreck started the company with the idea to design a lightweight yet powerful vacuum that hotel housekeepers would prefer over the heavy models available to them. The idea proved so successful that now over 50,000 hotels throughout the world use Oreck vacuums. After a short time, hotel staff wanted to buy the vacuum cleaners for their own use at home, which gave the Oreck Corporation the idea to sell its unique products to consumers.
Oreck has a reputation for making the finest vacuums available. Its continued goal is to provide lightweight and easy-to-use cleaning products for every room in the house, each with exceptional durability.
Oreck has experienced double-digit growth for the past several years and is now a major manufacturer in the cleaning industry. The company’s principal manufacturing facilities are based in Cookeville, TN.

Oreck XL® Customer Reviews
I was skeptical about buying an Oreck because of the price. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and really have a problem with them shedding. I thought I might as well try the Oreck challenge. I couldn’t believe how much the Oreck picked up that my old vacuum did not. My carpets look like new again! I was so impressed with my Oreck that my mother just ordered one. Mr. Oreck, I am sold on your products and will never go back to another vacuum. Thank you!Ruth Thomas, MO
It is so light and not hard to carry. It has very good suction, and I feel like it is getting my rug clean. It adjusts from room to room automatically. It is easy to load and unload the disposable bags.Loretta Schwartz, CO
Love the simplicity of this machine (no cumbersome attachments). Am impressed by the sturdiness of the Oreck (unlike many other brands which are mostly plastic). We’ve recommended it to many of our friends and relatives, and two of them purchased Orecks. Am contemplating getting another as a gift.Brian Ashley, MD
My Oreck XL came today via UPS! Not only was it shipped to me fast, but what a machine!! I love it! After reading the instructions I got busy cleaning every inch of floor space in our home. With 3 kids and 2 dogs, there was plenty of hair, crumbs, and who knows what else in our carpets and rugs. After using the Oreck for the first time, I could not believe the cleaning power of this machine!! I’m SOLD! And, I’m getting on the phone and passing the GREAT NEWS about ORECK around to all my friends and family. Great Job Oreck!

Zum Bar® Soap
All-Natural Goat's Milk Soap
Ever wonder where Zum Bars come from? Well, it's time we had the talk about the bars and the bees. We use the cold-process saponification method. We start from scratch with goat's milk because its pH balance is a near twin to your skin, so it leaves your skin feeling ultra moisturized. Then we add good fats like vegetable oils and pure essential oils. This is called superfatting and it creates super moisturizing glycerin in the process. Then we create swirls, patterns and motifs in our Zum Bar batches. We even tried our own version of Vermeer - Girl with a Pearl Earring. That one didn't turn out so hot, so we've been sticking to Pollock-inspired ever since.
