Richard Fitch began his 1st book shoppe just south of Witchita Kansas. He opened his Parker Book Shoppe Labor Day, 2007 because he felt Parker needed it's own book shop & to be closer to his grandchildren. He says the community has welcomed him & his shoppe warmly and says "if I don't have the book you need...I can order it!" He welcomes browsers and folks looking for maybe a rare or hard to get title.

Poor Richards is a little hard to find but worth the trouble. Just head down the sidewalk just East of Baskin Robins across from O'Brien Park.
