Welcome to Tranquility Massage. We are a unique clinic located in the heart of Olympia, WA, offering effective therapies, personalized to suit your health care needs. Our beautiful and relaxing space is designed to enhance your healing experience.

What makes Tranquility Massage different from other clinics? We specialize in a number of well-known therapeutic techniques, including "Bowenwork". We will recommend specific techniques depending on your needs, and of course you are welcome to request a particular technique.
What is Bowenwork? (Bowtech)
The body has an innate ability to heal itself, if conditions are favorable. Bowenwork recognizes this principle and helps to reorganize the body’s intrinsic systems to facilitate healing. There is a direct relationship between the structural framework of the body, the nervous system and internal organs. Bowenwork restores their functional integration by gentle moves that relax muscles, fascial tissue and the nervous system.
- Bowenwork is unique in the field of bodywork. It consists of relatively few, gentle "moves" over muscle and other soft tissue address the whole body, stimulating it to reset and heal itself. The healing may occur at all levels as needed: physical, chemical, emotional, mental and energetic.

Our other Services:
Swedish Massage:
This is a light and relaxing massage that utilizes long, flowing strokes, often but not necessarily in the direction of the heart. This soothing massage and gentle touch takes you to a new level of stress reduction.
Deep Tissue:
This technique gets deep into the muscles and connective tissues to break down scar tissue and adhesions. It is important to go deep gradually to be effective, and not so hard that it produces pain to achieve a release. It is important to keep the client relaxed and not to put him/her into "fight or flight".
Trigger Point Therapy:
Stress and tension are common causes of trigger points - found in the junction of the nerve and muscle in areas lacking oxygen. Common areas include: upper trapeziums and midscapulae and levator scapulae.
Injury Treatment:
Treatment specifically adapted to the needs of injured people. Loosening tight muscles, increasing circulation and mobility while decreasing pain. Labor & Industry (L&I) and Auto Insurance (PIP) accepted with a doctors referral only.
Myofascial Release:
Myofascial addresses the fascia, the tissue that surrounds and connects the muscles, bones and internal organs. Myofascial release treats the whole body and is aimed at releasing tension in the fascia as a means of restoring balance to the body and its systems
Hot Stone Massage:
A deeply soothing and relaxing massage that combines Swedish or Deep Tissue Massage with 15-30 smooth basalt stones heated to 125 degrees. Your therapist will use the traditional strokes of massage while holding the heated stone. Stones may be placed in specific points along your spine, in the palm of you hand, or even between you toes to improve the flow of energy in your body. The heat of the stone will allow muscles to release quickly and you will experienced an enhanced release of toxins and a deeper sense of relaxation.
