Grand Book and Bible, the only full-service Christian bookstore in Lawrence County, is a well-known establishment in the community.  The store was founded in the early 1970’s by Mr. Gaylord Kaufmann and was located for over 30 years on E. Wallace Ave.  Grand Book and Bible moved in August of 2003 to its present location at 2416 Wilmington Road.  The business is independently owned by three local females.  It is not directly affiliated with a specific church or chain of stores. The spacious and attractively arranged sales floor occupies approximately 5500 square feet.

The store provides a wide variety of in-stock merchandise to suit all Christian beliefs and tastes and to meet our customers’ needs for spiritual growth and personal ministry.  Customers also have the option of special ordering items, with a week being the average turn-around time.  The following is a partial list of our product line:  Bibles, Bible covers, inspirational books (fiction and non-fiction), DVD’s for family entertainment, children’s books and games, apparel, jewelry, teaching materials, printed and recorded music, accompaniment CD’s, greeting cards, stationary, journals, calendars, inspirational gifts for everyday and special occasions (wedding, anniversary, graduation, Confirmation, First Holy Communion, birth, Baptism, bereavement), tapestry throws and wall hangings, wind chimes, framed inspirational art, plaques, seasonal items, Catholic worship aids and giftware, cemetery candles, church supplies including Sunday School and Vacation Bible School curriculum, Bible study guides, clergy and choral attire, choral octavos, hand bells, hymnals, pew Bibles, communion ware, offering plates, signage, bulletins, candles, altar ware, tracts, pocket cards and bookmarks.

Our staff and management are committed to provide our customers with exceptional personalized service.  Services include free Bible imprinting, free gift wrap, free delivery of bereavement items to local funeral homes, UPS shipping, gift cards, and fund-raising opportunities for churches and non-profit organizations.
