Sweet Dreams Bakery is a family business located on Loop 337 in New Braunfels, Texas. What started as a private baking service is now a public storefront serving kolaches, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, brownies, muffins and more. Come in and select from our daily offerings or place a custom order for a special occasion, party or meeting.

Brief history about the company:

Sweet Dreams Bakery was opened in September 2010 by Sandra Sulak Plumb. Sandra is a retired teacher who operated a private baking service out of her home before opening SDB. The staff includes Sandra, her husband Calvin, pastry chef Rebecca Garcia, and interns from pastry schools in Austin and San Antonio.

What makes Sweet Dreams Bakery Unique?

Every day we bake Czech kolaches from scratch using traditional ingredients and homemade fruit fillings. And we have over 50 flavors of cupcakes!

What would you tell someone that hasn't been to your store yet?

We've recently introduced a few new breakfast items including Belgian waffles with whipped cream & fresh fruit and vegetable frittata slices. Soon we'll be offering homemade biscuits with sausage & cheese. And on Wednesdays you can always get coffee for 50 cents with any purchase.
